“I just had a root canal done by Dr Judy McIntyre and I was so impressed with the care I received. I was in a lot of pain and had experienced a failed attempt elsewhere due to my high level of anxiety when it comes to dental procedures. Dr. McIntyre had just the right amount of compassion and encouragement while also being firm about some things that were important for safety during the procedure (e.g. don’t bring your hand up near your head to scratch an itch or move a stray piece of hair or whatever without warning them) because she and her assistant were passing sharp tools back and forth. I had difficulty with the dental dam and with the C shaped device used to keep my mouth open. She managed to calmly get these things in a position that I could tolerate, which kept my anxiety and gag reflex under control. The procedure was painless and I feel great now (the next day). It all went very smoothly. I was so amazed at how easy it was. I highly recommend Hopkinton Endodontics!”
